The food you eat directly affects your everyday life.

When and what you eat sends direct message to your body.

Food literally tells your body “release or don’t release these hormones, express or don’t express this protein, trigger this immune cell, digest and absorb this” etc.

When you eat your body intuitively processes those calories, like the most efficiently run machine ever! And what’s even more fascinating is that our thoughts, feelings, and environment can affect these processes. When you’re stressed, worried, relaxed, or all affects your body’s ability to process nutrients.

Anyone notice that their digestion gets a little wonky when they’re overstressed?

Every food choice is an opportunity to direct, shape, and remake our health. Our body composition. Our wellbeing. Our performance.

That is why it is SO important to master the basics of nutrition. i.e Eliminate processed sugars. Eat real, whole, quality foods. Eat a lot of plants. Eat smart carbohydrates. Eat healthy fats.

You must create a solid base of nutrition so that you can SUSTAIN healthy living. It is crucial that you learn about food and how it affects YOUR body. Nutrition is not a one size fits all.

Yes, it will take time and lot’s of effort, but it will be so worth it! Enough with the fad diets and quick fixes- those will give you temporary results- not sustainable, lifelong habits.
