Yes, it’s hairy but did you know that it’s completely edible! Eating the skin triples your fiber intake and preserves more of the kiwi’s vitamin C.
The skin on numerous kinds of produce are loaded with vitamins and minerals. Skins contain more fiber, phytochemicals, antioxidants, potassium, and many other important nutrients!
Before venturing into eating the skin- make sure to wash the skin thoroughly before ingesting! It’s also good to be aware of certain produce that tends to contain more pesticides. It is highly recommended to buy organic.
